Cystoscopy

Cystoscopy is a telescopic inspection of the bladder performed by passing the instrument through the urethra or water passage into the bladder.

It can be carried out under either general or local anaesthetic. The bladder wall can be inspected in detail and other diagnostic or treatment procedures can also be carried out if necessary.
